Missions Jambo! (Swahili for Hello) From your Missionaries and Evangelists Eddie and Sharon LeGrand. Praise the Lord Brothers and Sisters! Since our visit in 1999 to Africa, we have received many letters from our brothers there about what the Lord has done. We would like to share with you some of the testimonies so you can rejoice with us in the move of God in Kenya, Africa. Evg. Geoffrey Mutuba’s letter from Bungoma, Kenya, “…my life has never remained the same…I have also seen my prison church grow at an alarming rate, officers getting saved and at the same time prisoners too. In fact, I am glad to inform you, (we) had a very successful and wonderful fire crusade in the City of Bungoma…The whole City was left in worship and wonderment…next seeing soldiers preaching in uniform, the sick were healed in the Name of the Lord!...It’s my appeal once again that if you come to Kitale (Kenya), then we invite you to our Bungoma Prison Church to talk to the inmates too.” We witnessed many salvations, healings, miracles, signs and wonders during our trip to Africa. A man brought his wife to one of our meetings. She would throw sugar and flour in the fire and would not take care of their baby. The child was wrapped in a urine soaked blanket! God’s power set this demon-possessed woman free! The next day report was given the woman was in her right mind, taking care of her baby and was planting her garden! Praise God! These mighty moves of God would not have been possible had you not helped to support us with your financial seed offerings. Again, this year we desire to return to Kenya, E. Africa to continue the “fire crusades” God has begun there. Kenya, Africa is not only a place God has sent us, but it is a people God has birthed in our hearts who are hungry for the Word of God and have many needs…spiritual, physical and financial. Maybe you can’t go to Africa, but you can still help do the work by sending others. In 1998, one lady from Indiana told us, “I can’t go to Africa, but I can help you go…” and she planted a seed offering of $500. In 2000, another woman gave a seed offering of $5,000 to build a church in Africa, because the Lord spoke to her and said, “If you will build my house, I will build yours.” She is believing God for her household’s salvation. And since that time, one of her daughters is now serving the Lord. God tells us in 1 John 3:17-18, “But whoso hath this world’s goods, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.” We are submitted to our covering, Gloryland Harvest Church, Radcliff, Kentucky, which has been the backbone of our missionary work. A Note from our Pastor, Jacob Pearman. “Bro. & Sis. LeGrand are our missionaries and have submitted themselves to the covering of this ministry.
